Request account and data deletion

To request deletion of your Hookly account and associated service data, email help@gethookly.app from the email address connected to your Hookly support or store account, if available. Use the subject line "Account deletion request".

What we delete

  • Device registration records associated with your Hookly account or device.
  • Webhook routing identifiers tied to your device.
  • Subscription linkage records that are no longer required to operate, restore, or audit your subscription.
  • Support communications that are no longer needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

What may be retained

We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, billing, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. App Store and Google Play purchase history is managed by Apple or Google through your store account.

Local notification history

Notification history stored locally on your device is removed by deleting the Hookly app or clearing the app's local data. Hookly does not have access to notification history stored only on your device.

Timing

We will verify and process deletion requests within a reasonable period unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

In-app deletion

If the Hookly app supports account creation, the app should also include a readily discoverable in-app account deletion flow before App Store submission.
